We were treated to Easter Sunday lunch here yesterday by my Mother and Father in-law and it was one of the best meals I have ever had! The pub is adorable and quaint with lots of lovely candles scattered everywhere. The staff were lovely and attentive. I ordered the chicken and when our food arrived at the table it came with the biggest cauliflower cheese ever! The best ive ever had!
Every single bite of that food was full of flavour, the chicken was juicy, the potatoes were crispy and the gravy, which came in the most adorable milk churn on your plate, was amazing. The desserts were massive and i ordered the pavlova and i couldn't believe the amount of fresh fruit on it!
Perfect meal and perfect weekend with family. I think my partner is getting fed up of me waffling on about the cauliflower cheese!!!

I had brunch here for my Birthday last Saturday for 15 people - this was a request and not something they usually do, but they were more than happy to facilitate my request (even though they were busy for normal lunch service!) We had the whole village bar to ourselves which was lovely meaning we could play our own music and made it intimate. It also helped as it meant that my friends toddler could run around safely. They provided a huge selection of breakfast food including potato cakes, black pudding, vine tomatoes, 2 types of eggs, mushrooms and some of the best sausages I've ever had! The table was decorated beautifully and we had Prosecco and Orange juice which was a nice touch. We had a fabulous afternoon and the service and atmosphere was superb and I cannot thank them enough! I've just booked in again this Friday for Dinner!
Best roast dinner I've had in years. Not sure what week menu is like. Definitely going to go back to try it! Can't recommend this place enough. Definitely book though.
